Description

A water main break is affecting traffic on the north side of Ann Arbor this afternoon.

The water main break occurred between the 1600 and 1700 blocks of Plymouth Road, according to the City of Ann Arbor's Project Management Unit. The area is near Barton Drive.

A contractor working in the area accidentally broke the line, a staff member in the project management unit said. About 1:30 p.m., she said it was expected to be "a while" before the line was repaired.
